Oyet Nathaniel, originating from Eastern Equatoria, faces an aggressive campaign to oust him from his post pushed by his kinsman Con. Lam Paul Gabriel. The Accusations: Opponents accuse Oyet of blatant financial corruption—specifically alleging he embezzled millions of dollars contributed by Nuer diaspora communities intended to fund operations to challenge the Juba government. Critics claim these funds were funneled into personal real estate, including luxury mansions in Kampala and Arua, Uganda.
The public feud escalated sharply following incendiary remarks from K-Deng targeting Oyet’s integrity:
“How can we solve disagreements through dialogue if Oyet continues to publicly lie about our internal issues without any FEAR of the Gods of our land? His inability to defeat the TRUTH with lies does not excuse his attempt to avoid addressing problems, as these issues will follow him wherever he goes.”
